Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault, born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jamesenez on September 2, 1966, is an American and Mexican actor and producer. In Mexico she began her professional career in the role of Teresa in the television series (1989-1991) as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), where she received an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were only a few of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's role as Frida the painter in Frida (2002) the film that she also produced as well, produced by Hayek, made Hayek the first Mexican actress to receive the Academy Award [6]. The film also brought her an Golden Globe Award nomination, Screen Actors Guild Award nomination and British Academy Film Award nominations. Later on, Hayek focused more on producing while starring in action-oriented films like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
