Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on April 24, 1982 , in Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American musician, singer and TV star. The year 2002 was the time she won the American Idol talent competition. Clarkson was born and raised at Burleson Texas (a town located just outside of Fort Worth), where her talents in singing were initially noticed by her seventh grade choir teacher. After high school graduation, Clarkson was sent on a trip to Los Angeles to try to get into the entertainment industry. Returning to Texas in 2002, Clarkson took part in the FOX Broadcasting Company's American Idol. This singing contest allowed the audience to select their favourite performer. The viewers were in love with Clarkson's arresting personality, voice, and humor. The prize she won was $1 million, and she also signed a recording agreement with RCA.
