Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta starting with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was a young man when he was interested in theatre. As a student in Emory University he appeared in various productions both on and off campus. After he enlisted in the Air Force, he appeared alongside Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. The couple got married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in the year 1957. In 1960, the family relocated into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a children's TV show in Georgia, Decatur called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They financed the production themselves. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It was in operation for a period of about six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also known as Julie) in this time.
